AND....We're back

Sorry it's been so long since I posted.... we've been busy bees the last few months. Probably the easiest (and least boring) way to update will be through pictures, with small captions- and probably an occasional mid-length paragraph. Hope this isn't too lengthy for you all.

Moving day- October 15th. We had a lot of help from Jeff's family
which we are so grateful for
Some pics of the house:
(Disclaimer: these pics were taken the week we moved in, and we have since re-arranged and redecorated several times)
Moving Day!
Family Room
The double doors are the laundry area, and the hallway leads back to the master bedroom/bath, 2 bedrooms and another bath at the end of the hall.
Plenty of room for guests............... hint hint.
Jeff's office- a nice big lobby, 2 offices, a bathroom and a storage closet.
My mom and I threw a bridal shower for my cousin Kassi at my parent's house in Boise. It was so much fun to get together and celebrate this exciting time in her life!
Halloween- we went to a party in Twin with Mark and Jaylynn- our costume was.... last minute. And nerdy. And awesome. If you don't get it, I don't blame you, most people didn't.
My costume for our ward's Halloween party/trunk-or-treat. Again, nerdy. But completely awesome. Jeff didn't really have a costume... so he went as a Boise State superhero, and tied one of our BSU blanket around his neck like a cape. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of his costume.
We spent Thanksgiving with the Rencher clan up at their cabin in Pine. Again, I don't have any pics from up there. But not from lack of fun- we made lots of fun Christmas crafts and played games, played in the snow and watched movies.

A couple weeks later......... DALLIN CAME HOME FROM TAIWAN!!!! We were all so excited to have him home, and just in time for Christmas! Those 2 years went by so fast!

And now onto Christmas! Christmas was SO much fun this year- and having my brother home made it that much more amazing!
Thank you, Mom and Dad!!!! We love our Xbox 360, and we were completely shocked when we opened it. My little brother got one and it was so awesome to watch him open it, so when we opened ours, we were in complete shock! I think my mom felt bad that we moved to Rupert, so she wanted us to have something to do :)

Happy birthday to my hubby! Jan. 9th was his bday and we went to Twin to celebrate.

For Martin Luther King Day weekend we went up to Jeff's parent's cabin to play in the snow. We had a lot of fun sledding, snowmobiling and building snow caves.

Aisley and Jeff sitting on the deck- she loves her Uncle "Jeff-wee" :)

Haha- pretty self-explanatory! Good job, Katie

We went up to Island Park with our friends from Rupert- Layne, Sarah and their two kids Jessalie and Kamden. We snowmobiled, played games, watched movies and went swimming at the club house. We had so much fun with them!

My calling in our Rupert ward is Cub Scout Den Assistant and we are over the 8 yr old Wolf scouts. There are no dull moments with this calling! The theme for our annual Blue and Gold Banquet was "Take Me Out to the Ball Game", and each leader brought a few dozen baseball cupcakes to go with the dinner. My frosting turned out pink, but they were still pretty cute cupcakes!

Now I am in Boise for a week while my parents are in Washington DC- oh, how I miss Boise and my family. Jeff's job is going great, and we have been so blessed with his work since we moved there. Jeff was put in as the Young Men's basketball coach, so we have been going to all of the games, and he also played on our ward's men's bball team and joined two city league volleyball teams. Needless to say, we've been participating a lot in those, as well. We're excited for spring and summer to arrive and to explore all of the fun activities Rupert has to offer. I've kept myself busy working a little, working out a lot, meeting new friends and now I'm looking for a full-time job. We'll see what I can find in our little community!
